How to Do Bow and Locust

Ready to open your heart space? Learning how to do gentle backbends like bow and locust is a great way to start. Backbends open the chest, upper back and shoulders. Yoga postures that increase spine flexibility has so many benefits, according to the Atlanta Spine Institute.

When we open our heart space with breathing and mindful movement, we are doing so much more than just stretching our bodies. We are letting go of tension and practicing vulnerability. We are lengthening the muscles and breathing oxygen into the cells, paving the way for more mental clarity and therefore revitalizing our minds.

Most importantly, practicing mindfully brings life and presence into the moment.
